Writing - whether it's sentences, paragraphs, or essays - is a multistep process including brainstorming, organizing, drafting, and editing. All these tasks can pose access barriers for students with a wide range of physical, cognitive, and learning challenges. Learn about tools and strategies to support all the steps in the writing process.

This webinar is for anyone helping students (K-post12) with the writing process, and the students themselves. Helpers would include teachers, aides, learning specialists. Site admin may also be appropriate, as many of these tools are available for free.

This Webinar is presented by Jennifer McDonald-Peltier, MS, ATP. Jennifer is an Assistive Technology Specialist at the Center for Accessible Technology in Berkeley, CA. She works with school districts across the bay area, provides training for students studying AT and supports seniors to age in place.
