Description

The lumbo-pelvic-hip complex is a crossroads of the body and limitation can easily wreak havoc locally and globally. Therefore, ensuring proper motion, control, tissue quality & extensibility is critical to ensuring optimal function. In this interactive principle-strategy-application based workshop, participants will learn the criteria necessary to assess this key region, including assessment strategies of the lumbo-pelvic-hip complex. The movement practitioner will learn progressive and regressive movement and/or manual based interventions designed to work at the individual threshold and increase movement capacity. .

This two day learn by doing workshop explores specific integrated movement & motor control principles of the lumbo-pelvic-hip complex, and was created for movement practitioners by practitioners. Through the lens of integrated movement you will learn principle based assessments, interventions to improve the quality of movement, and techniques designed to improve overall function and return to activity. Lastly, loaded movement training and load management strategies designed to optimize tensional integrity will be comprehensively shared.
