The Assessment Research Consortium Fall Summit is an invitation only event bringing together industry leaders focused on the global expansion and implementation of 21st Century Skills and Social-Emotional Learning assessments and tools.

9:00- 10:00: Richard Weissbourd- Harvard, Senior Lecturer on Education Faculty Director, Human Development and Psychology. Topic: Making Caring Common Project

10:00-10:15: Break

10:15-11:15: Dr. Ron Ferguson- Harvard, Ronald Ferguson Adjunct Lecturer in Public Policy. Topic: The survey he developed and gave to students to evaluate their teachers in the 7 C’s (Caring, Confer, Captivate, Clarify, Consolidate, Challenge and Classroom Management)

1:00-1:45: Transforming Education and a Boston based school. Topic: Implementation of SEL in the classroom; the voice of the educator.

1:45-2:30: Dr. Christina Cipriano-Yale Director of Research at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence and Research Scientist at the Child Study Center in the Yale School of Medicine -Topic: State-wide initiative in CT to make CT the 1st SEL state

2:30-3:00: Wrap up
