Assessment Protocol Components and Classification: A Cross-Sector Workshop

Join us for a half-day, in-person workshop designed to co-develop key components of a new housing-health assessment protocol. This session is part of the Design HOPES: Rhythms and Rhymes project, and will bring together professionals across healthcare, housing, and social care.

Why Attend?

Housing conditions are a major driver of health inequalities, but frontline professionals often lack practical tools to assess and respond to these risks. This workshop aims to:

  • Identify the essential components of a practical, person-centred assessment protocol
  • Understand what is missing from current approaches
  • Explore how the protocol should adapt based on the role of the assessor (e.g., GP, OT, link worker, housing officer)

Your input will directly inform the development of a tool that can be used in real-world practice to better address the intersection of home and health.

Who Should Attend?

We welcome participation from:

  • GPs and Primary Care Staff
  • Health Visitors and Community Nurses
  • Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Professionals
  • Social Prescribers and Link Workers
  • Housing Officers and Advisors
  • Voluntary Sector Practitioners
  • Public Health and Policy Stakeholders

What to Expect:

  • Collaborative group activities
  • Case-based discussions
  • Structured feedback and design tasks

Lunch will be provided. Please register to confirm your place as spaces are limited.
