The ASQ Raleigh Section is volunteering our time at the Food Bank of Eastern & Central North Carolina. We invite you to join us in helping the hungry in our own state. Family and friends are welcome; children must be 12 years or older and accompanied by an adult.

Potential Activities: Warehouse volunteers help to sort and repackage 40% of the Food Bank's warehouse inventory. We may help with: sorting fresh produce into smaller containers; repackaging products from food manufacturers and distributors; and/or putting bulk items into family size portions.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please wear closed toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty. You may want to dress in layers - it may be cool in the warehouse.

The Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC was established in 1980.The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina is a non-profit organization that provides food to people at risk of hunger in 34
counties in central and eastern North Carolina. In 2012-13, the Food Bank
distributed over 51.7 million pounds of food through over 800 partner agencies
including soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and after school programs for
