Introduction to the Ages & Stages Questionnaire (ASQ-3)
This training will help you learn how to use the ASQ-3 developmental screening tool.
This is a parent completed developmental screening tool, to identify a child’s developmental strengths and needs during the crucial first five years of life.
Who should attend: center directors and teachers, family child care providers and assistants, home visitors, therapists, family advocates, social workers, anyone working with families who have children from 0-5. 
Training Objectives:

Understand why this simple screening is important for children ages 0-5 years 
</LI>
<LI>
Become familiar with how to use the ASQ-3 and ASQ-SE, including how to administer, score, interpret and make referral decisions based on the results
</LI>
<LI>
Learn to respectfully and effectively communicate with parents about screening and follow up; support parents to complete the ASQ-3
</LI>
</UL>
