Aspire: Finding Meaning in Your Work
Event Information
Description
Join the Breakthrough Young Professionals board for their second annual "Aspire" event, a Networking Reception & Panel in the breathtaking skyline room at Jenner & Block. This year's theme is "Success and Significance: Finding Meaning in Your Work." We'll discuss how to balance a busy work-life schedule with the importance and value of staying involved in our communities through advocacy and volunteering. Wine, beer and appetizers will be served.
TICKETS: A $15 donation is suggested for tickets, which includes entry, appetizers, beer and wine. Please give as you are able; all proceeds go directly back to Breakthrough, a nonprofit afterschool program, homeless shelter, and food pantry on Chicago's West Side.
UPDATE: A generous friend of Breakthrough has offered to *match dollar for dollar* every dollar raised for Aspire through ticket sales and donations made the night-of. This means every dollar you are able to give has double the impact for children, homeless adults, and families in need in Chicago's East Garfield Park!
Panelists include:
-
Mike Evans – Author and co-founder of GrubHub
-
Kelly McNamara Corley – Discover Financial Services, Executive VP, General Counsel and Secretary

Thank you to Jenner & Block and a generous Breakthrough board member for sponsoring this event, and our generous donor who is offering the match.
