Event description

Description

Abstract

This presentation will cover an example of a product development approach that identifies early critical to function features, and captures key product architecture needed for project planning for mission critical, short development cycle projects. This approach, which highlights the importance of an overall system and deliverables understanding, as well as the value of communications between project disciplines, can be applied to any product development. The creation of the Night Vision Cueing Display - Quadeye, for the Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System, used on pilot’s helmets for the F-15, F-16 and F/A-18 fighter aircraft, is used as an example. Project challenges and solutions will be discussed.
