About the Speaker
Jen Lee Reeves - Executive Director | Design With Us & Owner | Just Right Strategy
Jen Lee Reeves is a former broadcast journalist and professor. She trained the entire AARP organization - from the C Suite to the volunteers - on how to use the power of social media to expand brand awareness. She also helped build internal and external communications strategies as the Director of Digital Communications at the University of Missouri.
Reeves launched a nonprofit, Design With Us, with her daughter, Jordan, collaborating with major brands to make a big impact worldwide. The two grew Design With Us (DWU) from a blog into a nonprofit. As DWU’s executive director, Reeves has directed the organization to launch BOOST design workshops across the United States and even in Bogotá, Colombia. The organization returns to in-person workshops in 2023 and supports a youth design consultancy. Reeves and Jordan also launched a middle-grade book through two Simon & Schuster imprints: Aladdin and Jeter Publishing. BORN JUST RIGHT was released on June 4, 2019.
Jen launched her own strategic communications company, Just Right Strategy, in 2020 and works mainly with nonprofit and for-profit organizations focusing on making a positive impact. Clients include Los Angeles County, the Center for Black Educator Development, and several national and international refugee nonprofit organizations.

The AMA was founded in 1937 and serves more than 30,000 members as the largest international marketing organization in the world.
