Event description

Description

We've invited a group of Code Fellows' Alumni who are currently working in the tech field to answer your questions about the program, job seeking, and landing a career in tech. We'll be starting off by hearing from our panelists, about their background, what they do now, and opening the door to the struggles and personal success of having a career in the tech field, followed by audience q&a.

This panel discussion, moderated by Kat Cosgrove, is open to anyone currently, or even just thinking about seeking a career in tech. Bring your questions and, while everyone's path will look different, we sincerely hope this panel can give you some ideas, build community, and help demystify the process from being a student to gaining a career in the tech field.

Our panelist Include:

Jen Carrigan - Software Development Engineer I at Zonar Systems

David Chambers - Campus Director at Code Fellows

Kat Cosgrove - Software Engineer - IoT Team at JFrog

Roger Huba - Apprentice SDE at AWS

Dan Stineback - International Telecom Software Developer

FAQs

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

  • There is an on-site parking garage for around $8 per hour (See signage for rates. Garage access via the northwest corner of 2nd and Broad- see overhead map below), street parking (variable rates), and ample public transportation options. Apps such as Parkopedia are great for finding garage options, and One Bus Away for bus route planning. Our address is 2901 3rd Ave Suite #300.
    • Bike parking is available on level 'UP' in the parking garage below the building. Please supply your own lock.
