Description: Join us for a hands-on workshop where you'll learn practical skills to support someone experiencing suicide thoughts. This in-person event will take place at 746 Colborne St. (Trinaty Lutheran Church). Your trainers have over 15 years of experience supporting individuals and families in crisis, and passionate about building suicide safe communities.

Will food be provided?

We will have coffee available in the morning, but encourage everyone to either bring their own meals, or check out some of the food options around the area. There are many! :)

What should I wear?

Wear clothes that are comfortable and that you can move around in. This is a heavy topic, so feeling comfortable in your clothing is a must!

What should I expect?

We will be talking about suicide and hearing about suicide and role playing does occur to help practice the skills learned.
