Event Information
About this Event
Marlene demystifies the quintessential Asian stir fry, a fundamental but often misunderstood culinary technique in the Western hemisphere. In this class, we will create a basic Chinese-style stir fry customized with your favorite protein (vegetarian or meat/seafood) and vegetables, which makes for an extremely versatile dish. When you learn how to make this Asian Stir Fry, you will understand primary Asian ingredients and be able to replicate this at home with different variations, making this a dish of "a thousand flavors".
Note on this class: Although any protein can be used for stir-fry, we are excluding fish as a protein choice due to a slightly different method entailed. We will be slicing/cutting ingredients in class. Asian stir fry is best served over rice or noodles, so please prepare ahead if using.
