The Asian-American Allisnace of Marin (AAAM) is a network of Asian Pacific Americans, organizations, and interested individuals in Marin. We serve as a resource to the greater Marin and Bay Area population by promoting justice, equality, tolerance, human rights, and understanding in our communities.

This year's guest speaker is Dr. David Yoshihara, Superintendent of the The Tamalpais Union High School District. Dr. Yoshihara began his educational career teaching high school math at Sunnyside High School in the Fresno Unified School District. He also has taught at Merced Community College, Fresno State University, Chapman University and Fresno Institute of Technology. Dr. Yoshihara earned his Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of La Verne in Organizational Leadership in 2001, a Masters of Arts in Education from Chapman University in 1996, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Computer Science from UC Berkeley in 1994.
