Clarence Featherson is an Award-winning speaker, trainer and Advanced Toastmaster. In 2013 and 2012, Clarence was a semi-finalist in The World Championship of Public Speaking (one of 88 semi-finalists from over 30,000 contestants in 116 countries). He is also an attorney in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Enforcement. Clarence received his A.B. Degree from Brown University and a J.D. Degree with honors from Howard University’s School of Law.
Arti Kumari is an IT professional who currently works in DC. Originally, she is from Pune, India, currently living in falls church, VA. She joined NOVA toastmasters, her home club, in January 2013. She is serving as NOVA's president since July 2013. She won 2013 district 27 humorous speaker championship in Nov 2013. She enjoys outdoor activities like skydiving and indoor activities like cooking and baking equally. She loves doing yoga and enjoys music in spare time. Arti’s favorite quote is “What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it!” Well said Arti, well said, we must cherish every moment in life.
Brandon Beyer currently spends most of his time helping entrepreneurs and small business owners reach their business goals. He teaches law and business classes for the US SBA and is a transactional attorney. Brandon Beyer previously worked as a civil rights attorney. Completing his undergraduate education at UC Berkeley, Brandon obtained a law degree from Golden Gate School of Law in San Francisco and a masters of laws degree from The George Washington University Law School.
Priyanka Komala is the Project Director in the Division on Earth and Life Studies at the National Academy of Sciences (NAS). At NAS, she is responsible for creating and delivering the division's online media strategy and future technological direction. Priyanka graduated from Anna University in India with a degree in Engineering and was ranked top 5 among 15,000 undergraduate students in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. She earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from American University, Washington, DC, and a Master's Degree in Business Administration at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
