ASCE OC Sustainability Committee organizes two bike rides a year, with the goals of promoting healthy activity and exploring one of many Orange County beautiful trails. The bike ride event is an opportunity to meet and network with other participants in the bike ride.

The day of:

Meet at 8am at Los Rios Parking Lot.

Leave parking lot at 8:30am, bike west towards Paseo Adelanto, turn right on Paseo Adelanto and ride to the intersection with Ramos St, turn left to access Trabuco Creek Trail, ride south on this trail till the confluence with San Juan Creek, turn right to cross the pedestrian bridge over the creek to San Juan Creek Trail, turn left (south) towards the beach, continue south on this trail till the end at Doheny Beach, break for photo and short talk about improving San Juan Creek project, turn right to ride along the beach towards Dana Point Harbor, turn left at Park Lantern and then turn left at Dana Point Harbor Dr, turn left on Golden Lantern, enter the marina parking lot at the bend of the road, ride to Coffee Importers to gather for snacks and drinks. Head back toward start point along the same trail.

Out and back, round trip roughly 11 miles, mostly flat.

This will be a slow-paced ride suitable for all abilities and nobody will be left behind!
