The ASCE Orange County Branch and the Sustainability Committee invite you to attend the September Luncheon discussing Envision Version 3, presented by J.P. Semper, P.E., ENV SP, Senior Managing Engineer, Brown and Caldwell.

Mare Shavalier, Program Manager-Capital Program Division, Orange County Transportation Authority will present an update on the OC Street Car Project.

About The Speakers: 


J.P. Semper, P.E., ENV SP 
Senior Managing Engineer, Brown and Caldwell

Mr. Semper is currently a Sr. Managing Engineer with Brown and Caldwell with over 18 years of experience in water, wastewater, and stormwater engineering. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Florida International University, and is a licensed Professional Engineer.

 

 J.P. supports the Institute of Sustainable Infrastructure as a certified Envision Verifier and certified Envision Trainer.

 

 

Mary Shavalier,
Program Manager-Capital Program Division, Orange County Transportation Authority

 

Mary Shavalier is Program Manager in the Capital Programs Divisiowith Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA). OCTA is the lead agency implementing the 4.15 mile OC Streetcar Project, serving the Cities of Santa Ana and Garden Grove. She is responsible for directing technical work on the project and coordinating with Federal Transit Administration on the New Starts Program requirements.

  

Prior to joining OCTA, she worked on streetcar, light rail and bus rapid transit projects at several transportation agencies, including Arlington County in Arlington, Virginia; Hillsborough Area Regional Transit in Tampa, Florida; Cobb Community Transit in Marietta, Georgia; and Calgary Transit in Calgary, Alberta.
