Michael Blomquist, P.E.
Michael Blomquist is the Toll Program Director for the Riverside County Transportation Commission and has been with RCTC since 2007. He has over 22 years in the transportation field including 13 years working on large design-build freeway projects. Michael currently manages the toll program for RCTC which features the development of two freeway corridors on State Route 91 and Interstate 15 including 25 miles of tolled Express Lanes with an estimated cost of over $2 billion.
Prior to his public sector role at RCTC, Michael worked in the consulting engineering arena in various roles on large freeway projects in California and Utah. He earned his Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo and a Masters Degree in Business from California State University at Fullerton. Michael is a registered professional engineer in the State of California.
