TOPIC - TCA Capital Improvement Program
The ASCE Orange County Branch would like to invite you to attend the August Luncheon Meeting for a presentation on the Transportation Corridor Agencies (TCA) Capital Improvement Program.
At 709 miles, Orange County is home to beautiful beaches, world-class shopping, the birthplace of California and the happiest place on earth. It’s also home to the largest network of toll roads in the state.
Comprised of State Routes 73, 133, 241 and 261, The Toll Roads make up 20 percent of Orange County’s highway system and are the fastest, easiest and most predictable way to get to and through Orange County.
Every day, staff at the Toll Roads work on projects and initiatives that will make regional mobility more predictable and less stressful. Join us as our speaker David Lowe, Chief Engineer, discusses the list of projects and initiatives that are currently underway.
Speaker: David Lowe
David Lowe is the Chief Engineer for the Transportation Corridor Agencies. Dave has been on staff with the TCA for sixteen years and previously worked for the Construction Engineering Manager for the San Joaquin Hills Toll Road. Prior to working on the toll roads, he worked with developing infrastructure for planned communities including Mission Viejo and Aliso Viejo. He is a California registered Civil Engineer, a Greenroads Sustainable Transportation Professional and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
