Event Details

It is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate in the ASCE Orange County’s 2019 History & Heritage/Student Scholarship Night, hosted by ASCE Orange County Branch and ASCE Orange County Younger Member Forum (YMF). The History & Heritage/Student Scholarship Night is an annual event for the local civil engineering community that brings together college students, young professionals, and accomplished industry professionals from private firms and public agencies across Orange County. Our honored guest and keynote speaker for the evening is ASCE Society Chief Operating & Strategy Officer, Jerry Buckwalter.

This year, the History & Heritage/Student Scholarship Night will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2019, at the Richard Nixon Library in Yorba Linda, CA. The event will commence at 4:30 pm with a career fair/company booth exposition and a concurrent networking hour. The dinner program will take place from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, which will include the distribution of awards and scholarships, student chapter presentations, and raffles prizes.

PROGRAM

4:30 - 6:15 pm   Career Fair & Company Booth Exposition, Social Hour

6:30 - 9:00 pm   Dinner Program

                         Student Chapter Presentations:

                         Cal State Fullerton, Cal State Long Beach, and UC Irvine

                         Key-Note Presentation: Gerald E. “Jerry” Buckwalter,
                         ASCE Society Chief Operating and Strategy Officer.
