Come on out and celebrate the festive season with us at Holiday Happy Hour.
We're getting together for our monthly gathering in December to toast the holiday season with a festive twist!
Helping the Homeless
This year the ASB is teaming up with Esperança, a group of dedicated volunteers who donate their time to give food, clothing and a bit of love to the homeless on the streets of Barcelona. Our goal this holiday season is to help them collect much needed items for their Christmas Drive.
Donate & Get a FREE Raffle Ticket
Helping is easy! Just bring a Christmas Gift Bag with all of the items listed below and you'll get a free ticket for the ASB's holiday raffle!
Just grab a holiday themed bag and add the following items:
- woolen hat
- neck cover/scarf
- small soap
- a small chocolate
Additional items that are greatly appreciated include: flashlight, underwear, roll-on deodorant, shower gel, wipes, sewing kit, christmas cakes & cookies.
But that's not all that's needed; you know it's gotten quite cold out there! If you you have some used blankets, coats, shoes, or other clothing items that you no longer need, please consider donating them to this great cause!

When & Where
American Society of Barcelona
The American Society of Barcelona (ASB) functions as a non-political and non-profit organization and strives to be the focal point for people who are interested in developing and maintaining business and social relationships in an international environment.
The membership of the American Society of Barcelona is a wonderful mixture of nationalities; we are about half American and half European, the largest group of Europeans being Catalan. What draws most people to our organization is a desire to be involved in the English speaking community of Barcelona, both for social interaction and business networking. We sponsor a variety of gatherings throughout the year such as business networking, cultural outings, traditional American and local events and celebrations, informative speeches and much more.
