Brought to you by the Mellon Just Futures Initiative, this edition of the Reading Room features authors Max Krochmal (Professor of U.S. History and the Czech Republic Endowed Professor and Director of Justice Studies at the University of New Orleans) and Todd Moye (historian of the modern U.S. and the director of the University of North Texas Oral History Program), as they discuss their book Civil Rights in Black and Brown: Histories of Resistance and Struggle in Texas.
The authors will share insight into the origins and further detail of their work, while joined by book contributor Jasmin C. Howard, Doctoral Candidate at the Department of History, Michigan State University. This virtual webinar session will be moderated by W. Marvin Dulaney, President of ASALH.
