Whether you are single and considering marriage, newly married, married with kids and just trying to survive, married with wounds you are struggling to see healed, or multi-decade marriage veterans, we invite you to this two-day summit to reconnect you to the author and sustainer of your marriage. Through Him, we can learn to live our marriages through the lens of the gospel, giving us the grace to rediscover not just the contentment but the joy of marriage, to live selflessly, and to love unconditionally, as Christ loved the church.
This two-day conference will begin with a meal on Friday evening, afford opportunities for worship and fun camaraderie, two teaching sessions with nationally-acclaimed speakers, and a Q&A session before wrapping up. The conference begins Saturday morning with a breakfast, more worship and fellowship, teaching sessions, men's/women's breakout sessions, and discussion panel. In addition to live teaching, we will also operate a bookstore stocked with great resources aimed at equipping you to navigate through various stages of marriage and parenting, aids for developing spiritual disciplines, and resources providing remedial counsel for various hang-ups. The conference provides the perfect avenue to devote your resources on Valentine’s Day weekend. We hope you will join us for this special time and see it as an investment in your life, your marriage, your home, and your community.
That marriages in mid-Missouri would be strengthened by a two-day summit devoted to teaching, worship, prayer, and camaraderie, thereby impressing upon attendees the vitality of grounding their marriages in the gospel, and to impart conviction to consciously utilize our marriages – daily – as instruments that conform us to the image of Christ.
For men and women of Mid Missouri to be compelled of the need for a gospel-centered marriage, to repent where needed, to recommit to gospel principles where needed, to alter priorities that need to be altered, and to rediscover the love of Christ through their marriages thereby strengthening the marriage, family, and community as a whole.
