Description

A multidisciplinary conference shedding new light on the work and influence of Arvo Pärt, the world's most-performed living composer. Taking place at the Lincoln Center campus of Fordham University, in the heart of New York City. Lectures, discussions, musical and film presentations by globally-recognized scholars and musicians will focus on the sonic impact of Pärt's music, on body, mind, and soul.

Presented by the Sacred Arts Initiative and the Arvo Pärt Project at St. Vladimir's Seminary, in collaboration with the Orthodox Christian Studies Center at Fordham University.
