Event description

Description

The African Student Association at Seton Hall University seeks to interact with the incoming freshman and its existing members or interests in an intimate, relaxing and educative setting. Beginning with a concise but thought-provoking epilog on the theme of the night which is “Celebrating Women of all Shapes and Shades”, there will be a short discourse on the influence of female figures in art especially in the history of African Art. In addition, there will be the chance to get to know attendees on a more personal level while eating hors d’oeuvres and sipping on our signature mocktails. Finally, the most anticipated part of the night, the painting class, attendees will get to paint and add their personal touch to the image chosen to represent the theme of the evening.
