Explore public art, murals, and placemaking around the Five Points Plaza. Learn about our public art, see murals, and be inspired hearing about the creative process from an artist.
This one-hour artwalk begins at the Five Points Plaza. This event is free but limited to 25 participants. Light rail access is from the Gold Line. ArtWalks + Artists in Historic West End is sponsored by Culture Blocks – a community partnership funded by Mecklenburg County.

• New ASC public art sculpture celebrating Dorothy Counts
• Two murals by Abel Jackson, Queen City Nerve Best Muralist for 2021

Lo’Vonia Parks is a Charlotte-based artist known for her murals, drawings, caricatures, and jewelry design. She was a 2019 artist in the Brand the Moth META Residency Program and has murals in South End and Uptown. Parks was recently voted Queen City Nerve Best Visual Artist. Want to know more?
