Description

Creating Crimson Artist Development & Coaching presents its 1st "Art Voices Matter Music Meetup" event in 2018 by presenting featured artist Meagan McNeal! A Chicago-based vocalist, Meagan commands the stage with her powerful vocals and kind spirit. She has opened for Dwele, Avery Sunshine, Jon B. and The Velvettes of the legendary Motown Records. Most recently she landed a spot on Season 13 of NBC's "The Voice" and was selected by award winning vocalist, Jennifer Hudson, to receive mentorship and artist development.

This very special meetup will be at Columbia College In Chicago and will include an interview with Meagan McNeal discussing her music career, steps taken to appear on "The Voice" and strategies for other independent artists to be successful in the music industry. Meagan will also perform beautiful acoustic selections.

The event will be facilitated by owner of Creating Crimson, Kenya M. Johnson who is an international recording vocalist/songwriter and creative coach.

This event is FREE for all Illinois registered college students! Students must RSVP at info@creatingcrimson.com and present current student ID at the door for entrance into the event.

Limited seating is available- please register early! Doors open at 12:30pm; event will start promptly at 1pm.
