Space is a canvas on which we write our stories, paint our dreams, and build our realities. “We are not going to be able to operate our Spaceship Earth successfully nor for much longer unless we see it as a whole spaceship and our fate as common. It has to be everybody or nobody.” - Buckminster Fuller

"Injecting Artists into High-Tech Startups to Transform Industries"
Moderated by Rosemarie Truman
Alice Walton, the visionary behind Crystal Bridges, sees the fusion between the arts and technology as the force that generates positive disruption and fosters innovation. Very few organizations around the world have created the formula for injecting art into high tech. The story behind Steve Jobs’s calligraphy class and how this influenced the raging success of the mac computer is an example of the influence of art in gaining market leadership. CODAME is an organization that systematically connects the art to high-tech by conducting events. In partnership with the Walton Family, Rosemarie Truman is leading the first ever initiative to systematically unite artists with high tech entrepreneurs to create infinitely transformational startups. Art also allows for emotional expression and engagement as well as the empathy generation.
Panelists:
- Joe Andolina, Director of Product Marking at Salesforce
- Dr. Jane Dill, Creative Intelligence Consultant
- Diana Ayton-Shenker, CEO at Leonardo/ISAST
Followed by a fireside chat with CODAME Founders Bruno Fonzi, Jordan Gray and Art Curator Vanessa Chang and volunteers making the Festival happen!
