Learn tips and best methods and hear first hand insights for promoting your art practice across various on-line platforms from a panel of social media savvy artists and moderator Dawline-Jane Oni-Eseleh.

About the Moderator, Dawline-Jane Oni-Eseleh:
Dawline-Jane Oni-Eseleh is an Oakland, CA based visual artist whose current work is focused primarily on the shifting urban landscape. An avid observer and prolific photographer, she employs a vast catalog of visual notes and memories to create her work. A lover of materials and process, Dawline-Jane uses a range of media including relief print making, pen and ink, photo transfer and encaustic. Her work has been exhibited nationally as well as locally across the Bay Area, internationally and in print and online publications. Dawline- Jane has done successful social media and outreach projects for retailers as well as arts organizations.

About ArtSpan Artist Workshops:

ArtSpan presents monthly 90-minute workshops designed to sharpen business and financial literacy for professional artists, prepare artists for exhibiting work inside and outside the studio, and encourage community between fellow artists and the public. Through these community events ArtSpan creates a platform for artists to thrive, fostering a Bay Area that values the arts.

Workshops are free to attend for all ArtSpan Artists Members. A $20 suggested donation is requested from Non-Member attendees. No one turned away for lack of funds.

All events are held at SOMArts Cultural Center, 934 Brannan St, 94103, unless otherwise noted. ArtSpan participates in SOMArts’ Affordable Space Program, which provides below-market rental space, production and publicity assistance to arts and cultural organizations.
