Meet artists and art enthusiasts, check out the letterpress print studio and try your hand at pulling letterpress prints using wood type!  Interactive art activities to engage in!

San Francisco Center for the Book is excited to host ArtSpan for their June 2023 Artist Mixer!

Stop by this casual after-work event, say hello to your fellow ArtSpan artist members, and learn more about San Francisco Center for the Book! SFCB will have their studio presses up and running; event attendees will be able to pull their own poster print in our print studio and browse our bindery space for ideas and inspiration. SFCB’s Summer 2023 exhibition “Datz Press: Contemporary Voices in Global Photobooks” will be on view, highlighting photo based artists’ books from Datz Press of Seoul, South Korea.

Light refreshments and snacks will be served.

About ArtSpan Artist Mixers:

ArtSpan produces Artist Mixer events throughout the year to give artists a chance to meet, mingle, and make art with each other. Past events have included studio and gallery tours, bingo games, painting, printmaking, collage and assemblage making, letterpress and bookbinding, live model figure drawing, and more!
