Event description

Description

Arts SU Creative Activities team are collaborating with Peer Sessions to bring UAL students the opportunity to take part in the nomadic crit group sessions run by Peer Sessions this June. We want to facilitate students to meet and collaborate across the UAL colleges and to learn how to self organise crits.

If you are a current UAL student or graduating UAL student sign up now to secure your place. We will then send you details on how exactly the crit session will run and get your feed in.
Cass Art are generously giving us use of their space in Islington.

More about Peer Sessions:

Peer Sessions is a nomadic crit group providing a forum for the discussion of contemporary art. Monthly meetings aim to offer constructive feedback to practicing artists and engage with current concerns in art and culture. In addition to monthly crits, Peer Sessions organise projects focussed on facilitating and supporting artistic collaboration. Peer Sessions was founded in 2009 by Kate Pickering and Charlotte Warne Thomas after graduating from Goldsmiths MFA.

Peer Sessions consists of a fluid informal membership of around 400 artists, curators and writers, and welcomes artists and professionals involved in the production of contemporary art. Peer Sessions have discussed the work of over 100 artists whose practices range from curatorial and publishing projects to live performance, installation, video and painting.
