About this event
Join the August Wilson African American Center and Hazelwood Local on RIDC's Mill 19 South Porch for a FREE day celebrating the Arts.
AWCommunity Day is a family-friendly event that features local vendors, artisans, performers, bites & sips, and community camaraderie. Come join us in this unique space to enjoy live music, theater, art, and more!
October's event will include performances by:
- 12:00 PM: YMCA Lighthouse Project Alum
- 1:00 PM: DeMaskus Theater Company
- 2:00 PM: Yoga with Quest the Yogi
- 2:30 PM: Savannah Shantell
- 3:15 PM: FLOW Band
- 12:00pm - 4:00 PM: "Live Painting" with AmunRay the Artist & Tunes from DJ KB
*Accessibility considerations: ASL interpreter provided. The performance area of the event is concrete and wheelchair accessible. The vendor and food spaces are packed gravel and grass.
