Event description

Description

Cathedral Park Performing Arts Collective (CPPAC) is “Charity of the Day” at The Oregon Public House and the Village Ballroom on Monday, February 25 from 11:30 am-9:00 pm. “Arts for All Ages: A Benefit to Deepen Intergenerational Roots” is an event for everyone, ages 0-107 yrs+ and is FREE and open to the public. A portion of the day's sales will benefit CPPAC's Intergenerational Program, which connects hundreds of individuals of all ages through music and theatre at local retirement, assisted living, and intergenerational communities each year.

Guests may choose to dine-in at The Oregon Public House, or CPPAC will deliver a limited number of pre-ordered lunches to select locations. To pre-order your lunch for delivery on February 25, contact CPPAC Directors, Audrey Voon and Cristina Marino, at info@cathedralparkarts.org.

CPPAC’s “Charity of the Day” festivities include music groups, activities, and games for all ages throughout the afternoon, followed by an evening concert. At 3:00 pm, join CPPAC teacher, Sam Hawk, for “SING, MAKE, PLAY” a music, craft, and story time for young learners ages 0-7 yrs. Gather in the pub at 4:00 pm to try your hand at a good ol’ game of all-ages BINGO. Then, at 4:45 pm raise your voice (and a glass!) in an all-ages sing-along, led by CPPAC Artistic Director, Audrey Voon. Don’t forget to enjoy a bite off OPH’s happy hour menu, while you’re at it! Then, bring out your banjo, tambourine, or ukulele and join Board Certified Music Therapist, Lisa Peterson (comeonletssing.com) for an all-ages jam session in the pub from 5:30-6:30 pm. Doors to the Village Ballroom open at 6:30 pm for an evening concert, featuring special guest band, Green Mountain Guild (greenmountainguild.com), as well as performances by CPPAC’s Marimba Band, Build-a-Band, and Acting & Improv for Life Class.

FEES

There is no admission charge to participate in the day’s activities or evening concert. A donation of $15/adult and $10/child/student/senior is suggested for those who wish to contribute directly to Cathedral Park Performing Arts Collective.
