About this event
Applications for the San Benito County Arts Council's ARTS EXPRESS Grant Program are now open!
Jennifer Laine, Executive Director of the San Benito County Arts Council, will host a Virtual Grant Workshop from 4-5 pm on Monday, May 16th to provide an overview of the Arts Express Grant Program, guidelines and deadlines, as well as provide practical tips on how to put together a competitive grant application.

This workshop is intended for San Benito County based Individual Artists, Arts-based Nonprofit Organizations; Individual Artists; Teachers; and Cultural Groups, Non-arts Community-based Organizations, and Arts-based Businesses who partner with an individual artist or arts providers who are interested in applying for this grant program.
More about the ARTS EXPRESS Grant Program
The goal of the San Benito County Arts Council’s Arts Express Grant Program is to promote artistic and cultural engagement, accessibility, equity and diversity San Benito County. Arts Express provides funding support to local artists, art groups and art and cultural organizations through general operations and project-based grants.
Grant requirements include that applicants must be based in San Benito County. Proposed projects must be for the benefit of San Benito County residents and activities shall reflect artistic practices and traditions in the visual, performing and traditional arts. All projects shall promote arts accessibility, engagement and equity.
