About this event
Looking for a relaxing art activity on a Saturday afternoon? Join us in-person (only) to make a beautiful and unique piece of Arabic Calligraphy.
In-person participates will have access to free materials and canvas to do the project. This is a good activity to attend with friends so one can socialize while working on a small project. It is also a great opportunity to meet new people.
Please be aware participants must be older than age 12 to attend.

These are the supplies you will need to do this project:
- Canvas 11x14 inch
- Acrylic paint (black, white, 7 other colors of your choice)
- Assortment of paint brushes
- Tracing paper
- Pencil
- 4B pencil
- Ruler
- Eraser
- Artist tape
- Black sharpie
- Template
- Disposable cup/plate
- Water
These supplies will be provided to in person attendees. Unfortunately this workshop will not be available online.
This workshop is being taught by Sr. Shireen Ahmed, who is a beginner level artist.
