Event description

Description

Participants in the Arts Connect Appalachian Youth (ACAY) project, along with family and community guests, are invited to join us for this culminating summit which will showcase student projects and performances associated with ACAY artist residencies, provide opportunities for regional networking with educators, arts professionals, and creative youth, incorporate hands-on learning, and more.

Free! Lunch will be provided.

Registration required by October 11.

ACAY participants are encouraged to contact us ASAP with ideas of what they would like to share or experience at this gathering. Please contact us regarding scheduling concerns as well. We want to maximize our time together while respecting travel time and transportation needs.

Target Audience: Student and adult participants in the Arts Connect Appalachian Youth project, as well as any school administrators, community leaders, and family members you would like to invite. We highly encourage any students who attended the opening summit in Nov 2018 to return, though other students who participated in the residency projects are welcome to attend as well. Max 32 registrants per school.

Please contact Sarah Campbell by October 11th if you would like to request accomodations for a disability or to notify us of any severe food allergies. For more information, contact Sarah Campbell at sarah_campbell@berea.edu or 859-200-9783.
