About Bob Hoffman

Bob Hoffman (aka Hoff the Harmonica Case Man) is a resident of the Mount Pleasant neighborhood in DC. Hoff is the designer and collector of 500 unique hand made cases/boxes that have been created by artists he has commissioned from all over the country/world. All of these boxes are designed to hold a harmonica and to be worn around the neck. These unique craft items are made from a wide variety of materials, such as - wood, beads, metal, fabric, eggshell, glass, clay, recycled materials, zipperheads, bamboo, leather, paper, computer parts, etc. This collection has been exhibited in museums, galleries and festivals throughout the country.
