Investigate art, materials, and big ideas with your little artist! Each week, kids and their grownups work together in the ARTLAB to create masterpieces inspired by the world around them. ARTLAB is an environment of experimentation and discovery, where each child is encouraged to follow his or her own vision.
Art-making clothes are recommended.
Designed for children ages 1-2, and their adult collaborators. Toddlers love process! Young artists in this class are exposed to a variety of materials, and given the opportunity to experience their potential. Free exploration is balanced with structured looking, movement, and sorting games you and your artist can do together.
Summer Series 2 Dates: Tuesdays, July 17 - August 14th 3:30-4:15PM
Designed for children ages 2-4 and their adult collaborators. In this class, we read a story or look together at work by a well-known artist, and explore what we find through drawing, painting, sculpture, or collage. Young artists develop observation and fine motor skills, grown-ups get tips for experiencing art with their kids, and everyone shares their creations at the end of class.
Summer 8 Week Series - Tuesdays, July 10th - August 28th 12:45-1:30PM (right after Rocking Chair Music Series! - great "mini-summer camp" for you little one!)
