The Brunnier Art Museum, part of Iowa State's University Museums, is hosting a day-long exhibition seminar in conjunction with the Artist in Iowa: The First Century exhibition. Sessions will address what was happening in Iowa between 1850 to 1950 including cultural and political changes, environmental concerns and what artists were creating. There will also be a panel specifically about the art of the Iowa Meskwaki tribe.
Registration
The event is free and open to the public, however pre-event registration is required.
Boxed Lunch
Boxed lunches will be available with advanced payment. Cost is $18 and includes sandwich or veggie wrap, chips, cookie and bottle of water. Lunches will not be available for purchase the day of the event. Attendees can leave during the lunch hour if they prefer to purchase lunch on their own. Boxed lunch orders are available until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24.
PLEASE NOTE: All attendees must register for the event, regardless of it they are purchasing a box lunch.
Parking
Attendees can park for no charge in the lot north of the Scheman Building.
