Welcome to this new, free workshop series, for creatives of all types, collaboratively produced by Metro Art Studios and The Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County.
If you’ve been looking for a creative community where you can learn, grow, and share your everyday questions, challenges, and successes, we have just the place for you.
Save your First Wednesdays of every month, starting May 3, 2023, for this fun and enlivening series to learn from experts and your fellow artists. NOTE: No meeting in July.
May 3: Breaking through creative blocks (Panelists: painter Kelly Rossetti, writer Gerald Moore, & musician Eric Donnelly of the Alternate Routes)
June 7: Working with interior designers and art consultants

Metro Art Studios is located in the historic Crown Corset factory building on Railroad Avenue in the South End of Bridgeport. The meticulously renovated three-story building accommodates fine artists in 38 studios. Metro Art Studios is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization providing free and low-cost art, music, and cultural events and experiences to the public of the Greater Bridgeport CT region. Metro also supports professional fine artists with resources, networking opportunities, and workshops.
The Cultural Alliance is the leading arts and culture network for coastal Fairfield County, with a membership of some 600 cultural nonprofits, creative businesses and individual artists, preservationists and others. We connect and support creative community life in our 15-town designate region through marketing of members events, networking, professional development and advocacy services.
