Artist Diane Meyer will present a talk about her critically-acclaimed series, BERLIN, at the Klompching Gallery in Dumbo, New York.

About this Event

DIANE MEYER will present an Artist Talk at the Klompching Gallery, regarding her critically-acclaimed series, Berlin, which features 43 photographs of the Berlin Wall, and which feature embroidery sewn directly into each photograph.

Seven years in the making, the photographs have been featured in A Matter of Memory: Photography as Object in the Digital Age (George Eastman Museum, 2016), and are being presented to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall in November 1989.

Diane Meyer (b. 1976) is an alumni of the New York University, Tisch School of the Arts, and gained her MFA from the University of California. Her work has been presented in numerous exhibition in the US and internationally. Most recently, Meyer's work was included in the exhibition A Matter of Memory: Photography as Object in the Digital Age at the George Eastman Museum. Her work can be found in several public and private collections.

Diane Meyer lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
