Event description
Join CMATO for a talk with photographer and visual artist, Jonathan Michael Castillo, about his iconic photographic series, Car Culture

About this event

"I'm really interested in capturing those introspective moments that we all have in our cars. Overall, Car Culture is just as much about Los Angeles and the car culture as it is about people."

Join CMATO for our next Artist Talk with photographer and visual artist, Jonathan Michael Castillo. Castillo will discuss his elaborate editorial photography series, Car Culture, his technical approach to photography and current and upcoming projects. Car Culture is the first solo museum exhibition of the artist’s work and features his arresting, candid photographs that capture Los Angeles’s driving culture.

Admission to Artist Talk is free for museum members and a $6 donation for non-members. Contributions help support CMATO's free public programs.

Members, use promo code MEMBER.

This program will be presented via Zoom.
