Artist-led Workshop: Glass Pumpkins (Saturday) with Lisa Pelo

Lisa Pelo, artist and owner of Hot Blown Glass and president and CEO of Glass Arts Indiana, brings her mobile glass studio back to downtown Columbus! Sign up for a one-hour time slot to work with Lisa and her assistants. Lisa’s original handmade glass artwork will also be available for purchase.

You’ll create a glass pumpkin on your own after a brief tutorial, with assistance from Lisa and her team. Each piece is unique and can be customized with an array of colored glass. Workshop participants and glass artists will be working closely together, so face masks are recommended.

Pumpkins made in workshops will be available for pick-up the following week (Oct. 11–15) at the Columbus Area Arts Council office: 431 6th Street, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 12:00–4:00 pm.
