Chloë Stewart's Artist Statement:
"As all can relate; I deal with the ‘human condition’ of ‘life in the mind’. Subjectively I paint about the importance of happy mental health. This is my first painting collection of its kind. My prayer is that the ideas I translate to you visually will affect your understanding and relationship with mental health in a positive light. Education to eliminate old-fashioned ideas that have spawned from poor media is imperative to stop stigma.

Stigma is discrimination. Through my independent study of mental health I have found one thing to be certain.

You cannot underestimate the healing power of the human body, especial the central nervous system.

...Delight in happiness."
