Join us for a Artist & Curator Talk! Fong Chung-ray and guest curator Manni Liu will engage in a stimulating dialogue about art, history, and the development of Fong Chung-ray as an artist from the Taiwanese modernist movement in the 1950s and 1960s to today's global interest in ink painting.
Come learn about Fong's creative process, his view on the abstract art in Taiwan and the United States.

Chinese Culture Center of San Francisco
The Chinese Culture Foundation is a community-based arts nonprofit located in Chinatown, San Francisco. We were founded in 1965 during the Civil rights era to preserve, promote and influence Chinese and Chinese American culture. Today, we are dedicated to sparking intercultural discovery through art, education and engagement.
We provide free or low-cost public programming throughout the year in visual arts, performances, music, dance and more.
Our space includes a 3,000 square foot gallery, showcasing the most innovative contemporary artists, an auditorium that hosts 400 people, and offices.
