Artisan Pizza: Mix and Rise

Not only will you be mixing and rising superb, artisan pizza dough, over a glass of wine, you will be also using freshly ground flour! This is a class that is for those that not only want to make, create and eat incredible pizza but also to perfect it!

Let’s see how to make a good pizza at home. Dump the supermarket bases that taste like cardboard and make real authentic, living dough. Learn about classic Italian pairings like rosemary and potato or gorgonzola and pear. Some flavours are destined to go together and the Italians are the masters.

Our teacher Damiano will give us an introduction to natural flours and baking and share with us the closely guarded secrets of a good pizza dough, we will get our hands dirty, shape and make pizza and experiment with classic flavours and then eat it all together.

Damiano, is an Italian chef who is passionate about pizza, he started making them for a living in 2011 and has been hooked ever since. This class is intimate, in the setting of a professional artisan bakery and numbers are capped at 10 people. Social and informative!
