What: All-day Articulation Adjustment and Action (AAA) Workshops

Who: Districts and schools seeking to establish or renew articulation agreements with Oakland Community College for state approved Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs

Why: Existing articulation agreements will soon become inactive and will require renewal

What should I bring to the Articulation Adjustment and Action (AAA) Workshop?

  • Your syllabus (in electronic and paper formats)
  • A copy of your current curriculum
  • Samples of rubrics used to assess class projects
  • The textbook(s) used in your class
  • Your current employer advisory board roster
  • A laptop for viewing your Gap Analysis and standards on Navigator


Each workshop will include the following agenda:

  1. Continental breakfast 7:30 – 8:00 a.m.
  2. Welcome & Articulation Renewal Instructions
  3. Walkthrough of the Articulation Process at OCC
  4. Review of existing articulation agreements
  5. Breakout into CTE program groups to conduct alignment
  6. Lunch
  7. Program alignment continues
  8. Updating and ceremonial signing articulation agreements
  9. Summarize progress, FAQs and closing comments (to conclude no later than 4:00 p.m.)

Your exit ticket at the end of the workshop will include a copy of the aligned curricula and a signed articulation agreement between the teacher(s) and OCC faculty member(s). Each articulation agreement will have a three-year term unless otherwise noted.

A continental breakfast and lunch will be served. Please note any special dietary needs when making your registration. There is no cost for CTE educators to attend, however all participants must register on or before September 9, 2019.
