Description

Join us to to honor Arthur’s dedication to children and youth living in foster care: The Arthur Pollock Legacy Award. Marc Freedman, President & CEO of Encore.org, is the keynote speaker.

Marc is a renowned social entrepreneur, thought leader and writer. Under Marc’s leadership, Encore.org has pioneered innovative programs and sparked a growing movement in the United States that taps the talent and experience of older Americans as a human resource for solving our most challenging social problems. Marc will present the 2019 Arthur Pollock Legacy Award to Lynn Price.

Lynn is the founder of Camp to Belong - a summer camp for siblings who have been separated when placed in foster care. Arthur volunteered at Camp To Belong MA for 11 years as camp photographer. He loved heading off to CTB MA to capture siblings creating joyous shared memories together. His photos would be gifted to the campers and made into beautiful videos for the kids to enjoy.

The Arthur Pollock Legacy Award honors extraordinary individuals, age 55+, who use their life experience to enhance the lives of our nation’s children and youth living in foster care and promote a Re-Envisioning of Foster Care in America.

Hors d'oeuvres will be served, and a cash bar will be available.
