About this event
Taube Philanthropies is proud to announce the first ever Arthur Ashe Champions Day featuring top ranked WTA Tour player and grand slam finalist Madison Keys as special guest.
Honoring the legacy of Arthur Ashe and his commitment to diversity and inclusion, Arthur Ashe Champions Day will bring together 250+ Bay Area youth from different backgrounds, age groups and skill levels and introduce them to the wonderful world of tennis. The Cuesta Park courts will be in full swing as world class teaching pros work with participants on beginning fundamentals and advanced techniques through numerous on-court skills and challenges.
Madison Keys will address the kids and parents about her experience on and off the court and will play a doubles exhibition match. She will also be doing some on-court coaching during the 2nd session.
Schedule for the day:
First Session
- 09:30am – 10:00am – morning registration
- 10:00am – 12:00pm – tennis program
- 12:00pm – 02:00pm – lunch, talk with Madison Keys & exhibition (day over)
Second Session
- 12:00pm – 02:00pm – registration, lunch, talk with Madison Keys & exhibition (day starts)
- 02:00pm – 04:00pm – tennis program
Join in for a day of fun, learning and camaraderie. This event is open to boys & girls ages 5 – 15.
NOTE: This is a FREE clinic but ALL participants must register to attend. Two sessions will be available to choose from. You may only register for (1) one: 10 am - 2 pm or 12 pm - 4 pm.
