Join us for an afternoon of fun and creativity. Families with children in grades K-3 are welcome to drop by our art studio Sunday afternoons where families can choose from a selection of maker stations. Each station presents a challenge or a question based on the afternoon’s theme. How you solve that challenge is entirely up to you - sky’s the limit!

- $50 | 3 or more children + 2 parents
- Workshops run from 1-3pm with the final admittance at 2:15
- Educator Introductions will begin at 1:05 and 2pm
July 16 │ Food
We all love to eat and food has been, and continues to be, an inspiration to artists. We will experiment with different types art in which food plays a prominent role and finish by creating our own food sculptures.

Is my registration/ticket transferable?
Tickets will be transferred due to illness or unforeseen cirumstances if the request is made within one week of the initial class. Transfers can be applied to classes within 6 months of the original reservation if space is available.
What is the refund policy?
Tickets will be refunded in full two weeks prior to the class. Less than two weeks notice of cancellation will result in the forfeiture of your payment.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
It would be helpful, but its not a deal breaker.

Nestled in the nation's capital in the richest museum complex in the world is the Smithsonian Early Enrichment Center, a model early childhood program founded in 1988. Our weekend workshops are an extension of the SEEC model with a mission to serve families in the DC metropolitan community.
