Do I need to bring a printed ticket?

We accept tickets displayed on phones or printed copies.

How long does the session last?

Object handing sessions last for approximately half an hour.

What age is this show for?

The sessions are suitable for ages 7+. Please do not bring babies or children younger than 7 to the session, as they will not be admitted.

Are there toilets available?

Yes, there are toilets available on the first floor of Southend Museum. Unfortunately, there is no lift or step free access to the first floor, however there are accessible toilets available next door at the Beecroft Art Gallery.

Is there wheelchair access?

The Education Room is on the first floor of Southend Museum. Unfortunately, there is no lift or step free access to the first floor.

Once booked, can I change the time or day of the visit or have my ticket refunded?

No, unfortunately we are unable to change the date or time of the visit once booked. To avoid any disappointment, we would ask that before completing the purchase of tickets you are confident in being able to fulfil your booking. Tickets are non-refundable.
